Guiding You Through the Details of Local Ordinances

Moving forward with any land development project requires obtaining municipal permits and approvals. The process involves navigating local ordinances regarding subdivision and zoning, stormwater management, building permits and sewage requirements. We will work with you and your engineer throughout the course of your project and assist with presenting your plan to the zoning hearing board, municipal governing body or planning commission. We can further assist you in preparing agreements or easements that may be required in order to obtain your approvals.

Up until April 26, 2019, short-term vacation rentals (like Airbnb, VRBO, HomeAway, etc.) were probably allowed in zoning districts where single family homes are permitted. In April, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court decided that a short-term vacation rentals are not permitted as a single family use.
