Craig V. RussellPartner

Craig Russell is a founding Partner of Russell, Krafft & Gruber, LLP. He has been counseling individuals, business owners and land developers for over 35 years. Craig takes the time to familiarize himself with every issue that impacts his clients, not simply those within the legal sphere. This comprehensive approach allows him to better recognize his clients’ needs. He understands his clients’ business, goals and priorities and serves as a trusted business advisor.

Craig also works extensively with local banks and financial institutions. His professional experience in finance, and expertise in the fields of real estate and land use, allow him the privilege of providing thorough, cost-effective service in various matters relating to financial institutions including commercial loan documentation.

Craig is best known for his personal responsiveness to clients and his extensive interdisciplinary knowledge. In addition to his expertise in business and financial matters, Craig also represents municipal authorities; guides clients through the purchase, sale and transfer of liquor licenses and working with the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board; and provides comprehensive counsel to developers for commercial and residential real estate matters including formation and operation of condominiums and planned communities and in matters of historic preservation.

True to his comprehensive approach, Craig also assists clients with Estate Planning and Administration. Whether a client is in need of simple estate planning documents or more complex services, such as succession planning for a business, Craig guides his clients through every step of the Estate Planning process to ensure their goals are met. He also works with individuals and families to probate and administer estates.

Craig is a former member of Millersville’s Borough Council, has taught Business Law at Millersville University and is a member of the Rotary Club of Lancaster. He resides in Mountville with his wife, Dianne, and enjoys spending time with his three children and four grandchildren.
