RKG Law Announces the Passing of A. Anthony “Tony” Kilkuskie
It is with sadness that we share the passing of A. Anthony “Tony” Kilkuskie.
Tony was a lifelong resident of Ephrata, a graduate of Ephrata High School, Harvard University, and Boston University School of Law. After opening his law office in Ephrata in 1974, he spent more than five decades providing trusted legal counsel to individuals, families, businesses, and municipalities throughout Northern Lancaster County.
In 2025, Tony aligned his practice with RKG Law to continue serving his clients with the support of the firm’s broader legal team. Tony’s practice focused on estate planning and administration, real estate matters, and municipal law. He never seemed to turn down a phone call from someone who needed help, and whether the matter was large or small, he wanted people to feel heard, understood, and well cared for. With the support of his longtime assistant and paralegal, Cindy Wolfersberger, Tony’s clients experienced the steady, familiar, and personal service that defined his practice for more than five decades.
Tony was also deeply involved in the community through numerous civic and charitable organizations, including Mainspring of Ephrata, the Northern Lancaster County Area Chamber of Commerce, the Ephrata Lions Club, the Ephrata Economic Development Corporation, the Guy K. Bard Educational Fund, and the Knights of Columbus. He also served as a member of Ephrata Borough Council, helping guide and support the community he called home.
Beyond his legal and civic service, Tony devoted countless hours to local youth athletics. He coached football in Ephrata during the 1980s and later served as a track and field coach for Our Mother of Perpetual Help (OMPH) in the 1990s. Known to many simply as “Coach K,” he mentored and encouraged generations of young people, leaving a lasting impact both on and off the field.
His dedication to his clients, his hometown, and the people of Northern Lancaster County earned him the respect of colleagues and generations of families throughout the region.
Together with the recent passing of Gary G. Krafft, the Ephrata and surrounding communities have lost two attorneys whose careers were defined not only by legal excellence, but by decades of service, leadership, and commitment to the people they represented. Their impact on the community will be felt for many years to come.
Our thoughts and condolences are with Tony’s family, friends, clients, colleagues, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
